The North Side
Christian Health Center (NSCHC) was founded in 199, as an anchor in Pittsburgh's
economically challenged and socially depressed North Side. We are a community
medical practice providing whole person spiritual and physical healthcare to
all people. Annually, NSCHC provides medical and dental care to approximately
5000 patients.
North Side
Christian Health Center provides patients with primary and preventive healthcare
services to improve health and well-being. Our practice sees patients of all
ages, from infants to senior citizens. NSCHC services include physical exams,
cancer screenings, gynecological exams, and sick visits. Our children’s
services include well child visits, immunizations, and vision and hearing
screenings.
Our dental
services include fillings, crowns, bridges, partial and full dentures,
extractions, root canals, and minor oral surgery within our scope of expertise.
When other dental services are required, our dental staff will provide patients
a list of specialists.
We also provide
behavioral health, pharmaceutical counseling, and laboratory services.
As a Federally
Qualified Health Center, all dental services are available on a sliding fee
scale to income eligible, uninsured residents. We welcome Medicaid and private
employer based insurance for adults and children.
